A few years ago, with the expansion of the European Union, we acquired some new neighbours. Over a period of four days, through a host of different activities, you are able to discover the legendary beauty of this country, which will spellbind you as you go from one amazing discovery to the next.
This veritable journey of discovery through the best-kept secret of Europe starts in Zaventem, where you check in for a flight of less than two hours taking you to the capital, Ljubljana. You will take lunch at a fabulous country estate at the foot of the Alps, followed by a guided walking tour through the city, which combines the Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture of the old world with contemporary flair.
The next morning, we drive to Postojna, the mysterious caves in the Slovenian “karst” region, which you visit wearing overalls and sporting a miners’ lamp. Your guests are then given an initiation lesson in wine tasting, followed by dinner with delicious locally produced Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
And then it will be time for some action and adrenaline! To be more specific: a choice of rafting, canyoning, hydrospeed/riverboarding or a bike ride through the beautiful nature surrounding Lake Bohinj. There is also another treat in store for you and your guests when we take you to admire the picture postcard beauty of Lake Bled.
The morning after the gala -style farewell dinner in the Castle of Ljubljana, your guests have yet another adventure awaiting them in a breath-taking ride in a hot air balloon. A champagne brunch in an unspoiled place of natural beauty brings this unique experience to an appropriate end.
