The adventurous young chef in the Hotel Tonic restaurant will welcome you with his colourful, avant-garde cuisine using local ingredients and exotic flavours. You can then doze off between the sheets in your Art Deco room, to wake up the next morning to be a reporter for a day. Armed with pencil, paper and a digital camera, you go off in teams to whip up a newspaper. While you give animated interviews on the street and head of on your investigation using your trusted city map, you get to know the real Biarritz in a truly original manner. Because all that news will sharpen your appetite, you can take your pick of tapas and other Basque specialties that afternoon in Bar Jean. Later, you’ll stroll around the picturesque fishing harbour in Saint Jean de Luz or mix it up with the young and beautiful on the La Grande Plage beach. Still more Spanish culinary delights await you in the evening. The following morning, your surfing instructor will be ready and waiting to teach you how to slide over the waves of the Atlantic. A bit of practice on dry land and you’re ready to head into the sea with your board. After an invigorating picnic, you can go on a journey to discover the city or stretch out on the beach. But don’t forget to wash the sea salt off you soon because we’re finishing this incentive off in style with a gastronomic dinner in the l’Opale restaurant. An unparalleled view?
