A pleasant historical city centre, breathtaking contemporary architecture and a fine selection of flavours… During this 3-day city trip you will notice that in Valencia every day is fiesta day.
After a comfortable flight your luggage is awaiting you in the stylish Vincci Palace hotel. The stately exterior with balconies of elegant wrought iron has recently been restored to its former glory, but the interior is fitted out with all the modern-day comforts. You will immediately invite your party into the Taberna Vintara, where a plate of tapas gives you a foretaste of the culinary delights to follow. In the afternoon, jump on your bicycle for a trip straight through the city, along the old Turia river bed. In the evening, indulge you and your guests’ senses in the De Ana restaurant.
The following day’s programme also features a banquet. But first you visit the covered central market with the very tastiest local produce and souvenirs. While in the La Albufer nature reserve, floating on the lake between the paddy fields, hunger will gradually catch up with you.
Time to get down to business: during a workshop a chef demonstrates the secrets of the original Valencian paella. No doubt as to what’s on the menu for lunch! After this your afternoon is free, before sitting down to eat in the atmospheric Basque restaurant Sagardi Euskal. On your final day you see a different side to Valencia. The City of Arts & Sciences, designed by architectural genius Santiago Calatrava, offers you a fascinating glimpse of the technology of the future.
