A taste of…
the colours of Seville
In the almost exotically clad Seville, you’ll get to know the best of Spain to the melancholy flamenco rhythm: mouth-watering tapas, romantic Moorish palaces and churches that strive to touch the heavens.
Just a short flight, and before you know it, you and your guests are being seated for dinner at the El Cabildo restaurant in the medieval heart of the city. You’ll immediately have a literal foretaste of what this incredible incentive has in store for you: a sequence of Spanish, Mediterranean and even Arabic influences. The following day, you’ll get on your bike, equipped with a camera, for a creative journey of discovery through the historic city centre. While the splendour of the Giralda is still fresh in your memory, you’ll stop at the central square in the intimate Jewish neighbourhood of Santa Cruz for a spicy Andalusian lunch in Hosteria del Laurel. After a visit to the flamenco museum, you’ll learn how to perform the dance’s graceful hand and foot movements on your own during a workshop. But the climax of your journey is yet to come; in the evening, the delicate works of art from the famous Robles Placentines restaurant will melt on your tongue, after which you’ll watch a couple of true flamenco dancers in the traditional Tablao Flamenco Los Gallos. The following morning, you’re free to wander along the lively squares and stylish shopping streets, while that afternoon, you’re expected at a tasting of the most delicious tapas in the Barrio de Santa Cruz. After that, you’ll discover the city from a particularly original point of view during a kayak trip down the Guadalquivir River. For a festive close to the trip, you can treat your guests to dinner in the exclusive Taberna del Alabardero near the Cathedral. Or would you rather head off to the Finca Mirandilla to watch the most stubborn of steers pit their strength against one another between the pines and cornstalks.
