When you arrive at Edinburgh airport we take you and your guests to the west coast of Scotland, where you are immediately immersed in a generous serving of local Scottish colour.
During original Highland Games your travel companions compete against each other in hilarious activities such as hammer throwing, caber tossing or playing the bagpipes. The dinner which follows is made from the best in Scottish ingredients. The next morning begins with a visit to the beautiful Duntreath Castle with its adjoining extensive gardens.
You drink coffee with Lady Julie, whose family has owned this castle since 1434. After this you enjoy a breathtaking demonstration of falcons and hawks, where you even get the chance to try out your skills. Once your lunch in a traditional Scottish pub is over, visit the authentic Glengoyne whisky distillery. Naturally you will also get the chance to sample a 10-year-old single malt whisky.
On day 3 you are transferred to a hotel in the centre of Edinburgh, and will get a chance to take a walk to acquaint yourself with this fascinating city. After a free afternoon you will welcome your guests for the farewell dinner in the stunning restaurant The Dome, formerly a monumental bank building. You are all set for a grand departure!
